Dassault Systemes have announced the availability of a new version of Dymola. The key highlights of the Dymola 2020 release are:
Simulation and experimentation
- Dymola 2020, simulation of parameter sweeps runs on multiple processor cores by default. This can for simple models lead to up to 20x faster simulation on standard computer hardware, without any special setup.
- Simulation result can be plotted directly by clicking on components and connections in the model diagram, hence simplifying the user experience and increasing productivity.
Model Libraries
Industrial Process Simulation is a new library in the Dymola portfolio for modeling paper & pulp + steam networks. Application to industrial plants yield benefits, such as, correct design of modified and new plants, controller tuning and optimization, and reduced commissioning time.
