Automotive Simulation Engineers (Contract or Permanent)

Claytex are currently seeking experienced automotive engineers to join our technical team to work on customer projects.  Currently we need engineers with experience in powertrain and vehicle dynamics modelling and simulation to work on projects for Automotive OEM’s and Motorsport customers. You will be working with Dymola and Modelica to develop and validate models that will then be deployed by our customers in to the product development process.

As part of the Claytex technical team you will have the opportunity to get involved in all aspects of the business in addition to working on customer projects.  This can include providing pre-sales and customer support, delivering customer training and contributing to product development.

You will be responsible for running your own projects so need to be organised, have an analytical mind and be able to communicate complex ideas to customers easily.

You will have a good engineering degree and experience in Automotive modelling and simulation, ideally, using Dymola and Modelica, or competitor tools such as Simulink, Adams, CarSim, etc.  All necessary training in Dymola and Modelica will be provided.  You will be based at our offices in Leamington Spa.  We will only consider applicants that are already authorised to work in the UK.

Graduate Engineers

Claytex are continually seeking new and talented engineers.  If you have recently graduated with a Bachelors or Masters degree in engineering and have a keen interest and aptitude for modelling and simulation we would like to hear from you.

As part of the Claytex technical team you will have the opportunity to get involved in all aspects of the business and work on a wide variety of different projects across many industries including Automotive, Aerospace, Hybrids, Hydraulics and Energy. In addition to working on customer projects you will be able to get involved with pre-sales and customer support, delivering customer training and contributing to product development.
