We are delighted to announce that Claytex has joined Intrinsys, the Intelligent Engineering Company, as a full partner to exhibit and present at the UK Intelligent Engineering Forum (UKIEF) at the MTC on 22nd June 2016.
A unique annual event, the UKIEF combines the very latest engineering software, inspirational speakers, and implementation experts, with the opportunity to network with other professionals managing their own Intelligent Engineering systems.
Unlike other events, registered delegates will have the opportunity to try out the interactive software within enterprise PLM whilst immersing themselves within relevant online resources.
At the UK Intelligent Engineering Forum Claytex will be showcasing our systems engineering solution Dymola (Dynamic Modelling Laboratory). Dymola is a multi-domain modelling and simulation tool that uses the Modelica modelling language to describe the behaviour of components, devices and systems. This capability is encapsulated into a wide range of application libraries covering engines, powertrains, batteries, electric drives, vehicle dynamics, thermal management and human comfort.
Managing Director of Claytex, Mike Dempsey, will present at the forum:
Systems Engineering of complex products using Modelica
An efficient systems engineering process requires a culture and set of tools that allow engineers to easily share information, knowledge and models across the organisation. In many of our Formula 1 customers, the adoption of Modelica for all simulation tasks across the team has led to significant gains on the track. These gains are realised because the whole team is using the same set of models for all their analysis work and deploying the same models into the trackside tools, telemetry systems and their virtual test environments including the driving simulators. Modelica provides a multi-domain physical modelling approach to system engineering, modelling and simulation and we will explain how this capability can be used and deployed effectively.
