Energy market dynamic systems modeling and simulation

In the UK the renewable energy agenda is focused on three main technology development areas.

This is an insight into our future energy generation mix. But its not just solutions for the UK that are driving technology development amongst UK product designers - and this is where Dymola is helping. Many companies involved in the development of renewables technology are turning to multi-domain engineering simulation specialists Claytex and Dymola.

  • Model and simulate solutions across hydraulics, control, electrical, blade performance all within one package
  • Monitor performance impact and model the effects of change on output
  • Understand and improve designs based on pre-existing physical components

Wind turbines today are larger and more efficient than ever before and with only minor impacts on the environment, they are widely thought of as a green technology. In Europe it’s widely accepted that rising costs and decreasing supplies of fossil fuels will mean that new technologies will have to be developed. In Europe alone the green energy goal is to have 20% sustainable energy by 2020. America is also beginning to recognize sustainable energy forms as potential replacements for fossil fuel. In Denmark the amount of wind energy generated is already in excess of 29% and set to rise to 50%. As a result a whole new industry is developing new wind and renewable energy production and generation technologies and products. Claytex is becoming more and more involved providing renewable energy simulation and modelling technologies.
